Holidays Maldives Blue Voyager

Maldives Itinerary -

Manta Trust Expedition: Far North (11 days/10 nights)

Venture to the less-travelled atolls of the far north, a mainly uninhabited region with beautiful scenic reefs and soft corals. A delight for underwater photographers. As you journey between the central and the northern atolls, experience a shift in topography, corals and colours. Expect to see mantas, black and whitetip reef sharks, giant trevallies and colourful nudibranchs, and even a chance to see whalesharks around Baa Atoll. The diving in the north has less channel dives and more fringing reefs and submerged thilas, dotted with caves and overhangs.

She underwent a major refurbishment in 2015 before relocating to the Maldives with further updates in the summer of 2016 and 2017. Currency

The local currency of the Maldives is the Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR), however most large businesses including resorts and restaurants accept US Dollars. If you bring US Dollars cash it must be in good condition without damage, tears or stains. Please note that local banks (and therefore local businesses) will not accept old versions of US banknotes: the newer $100 banknote should have a blue security strip, and the $20 and $50 banknotes should not be dated older than 2004.
