Leybourne Lake is situated close to Larkfield near Maidstone in Kent and offers 10m max depth.

Directions From the M20 to the Diving Lake

From M20 coastal bound Exit J4 onto A228 North towards Rochester. At BIG set of lights turn RIGHT onto Leybourne Way. Go to the end passing Tesco, at end roundabout turn LEFT onto New Hythe Lane. At next roundabout turn LEFT and immediate LEFT into Brook House Trading Estate which looks over a lake. Please wait in one of the unit parking spaces on the right.

DO NOT PARK AT THE LOCKED GATE BLOCKING ACCESS.

Attractions

The whole area has many lakes and very popular for fishing. The Diving Lake is not fished and hoast abundance of life from Perch, Roach, Pike, Carp, small Eels, Freshwater Mussles and the occasional Freshwater Crab. There are numerous objects (Boats, platforms, cars, gnome Garden, Statues such as Serina of the Sea and more) that have been placed underwater which also attracts the marinelife. These are all linked by ropes making dive circuits easy to navigate.
