Emergency First Response Instructor Course - One - Two Days


As an Emergency First Response Instructor, courses you can conduct;

  5. 12hr Care for Children for Professional Care Providers
  6. Primary Care for Schools

  7. Manual Handling - Once applied for the Specialty Rating

  8. Mental Health Awareness - Apply directly for this rating to EFR if the instructor holds the full 2-day Mental Health First Aid course from Mental Health First Aid (England)

  9. Airbourne Pathogens Awareness – direct application on viewing of the EFR Airborne Pathogens webinar (Emergency First Response® Airborne Pathogen Awareness Distinctive Course - PADI Pros)


Prerequisites

  • The only requirements are that you're at least 18 years old
  • Have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months, or a be a practicing medical professional such as a physician, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic or Registered Nurse. An EFR Instructor rating is required to become a PADI Instructor, but you don't have to wait until you're ready to go pro. You can complete or refresh this training during your PADI Instructor training.

What the course covers

Courses are run on a Bespoke basis to your requirements - You'll learn how to conduct the EFR Primary Care (CPR) and the EFR Secondary Care (First Aid) courses, Care for Children, and CPR & AED Courses for your Rescue Diver students and any other non-diving customers. You will gain confidence to teach EFR Courses using a Multi Media approach with independant study, classroom sessions, and practical teaching assignments. You will also develop the ability to motivate your students, evaluate their knowledge, present course materials in a structured way and become more proficient as a instructor.


Any EFR Updates/Retraining due to periods of inactivity or non certifications of students can also be organised to suit individual needs @£204.


All the above courses will be conducted by our Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and will comply with the new required changes & guidelines.


Course Costs

  • £425 - EFRI Course including Digital Crew-Pack
  • £215 - EFRI Update/Retraining program
  • £140 - Certification fee paid directly to EFR on completion of your course


The Course

The Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor Digital Crew-Pak provides the key learning and teaching materials instructor candidates need during and after the EFR Instructor Course. For independent study, candidates interact with EFR Instructor eLearning while referencing the EFR Instructor Guides and participant materials included in the pak. Candidates meet with our EFR Instructor Trainer to complete the course practical application workshops for certification.
