Scallops and Crabs

Either a Saturday, Sunday or the odd midweek days on  Channel Diver and 'Our W' or Dive 125 boat. All year round weather permitting. Min Advanced diver cert preferred and min 10+ UK dives. We dive from 12-40m for one dive on a wreck and sometimes are able to do second dive on then a nearby reef.


Technical dives are arranged and usually midweek - CALL.

Directions - From M25 Junction 7

Follow the M23 (S) to Brighton, which then becomes the A23. After about 15miles take the A27 signposted Worthing, Lewes and Newhaven

After about 18 miles on the A27 turn left onto the A22 at the Polegate traffic lights then right at the large roundabout back onto the A27 (signs for Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings). At the next roundabout follow the Eastbourne signs on the NEW A22 dual carriageway. Follow the brown and white signs ‘Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour’. At the roundabout turn left onto the A259 and follow the signs for Pevensey Bay, Langley and ‘Sovereign Harbour North’ (NOT Sovereign Harbour South’). Head on the A259 towards Pevensey Bay and just BEFORE the roundabout for ‘Sovereign Harbour North’ there is a roundabout signposted ‘The waterfront’ which is a large retail park with ASDA and a Virgin cinema take that turning. At the mini-roundabout go straight ahead into the FREE car park, (Note: there is a height restriction of 2.1m) and park as close to the far end of the car park as possible. From there it’s a very short walk over the road to the loading pontoon, which is next to the boat hoist. A large mesh trolley may be around to borrow or bring your own.


Directions - From M25 Junction 6

Follow the A22 East Grinstead. Pass through Uckfield and East Grinstead on the A22. At the large roundabout at Polegate turn left onto the A27 (signs for Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings). At the next roundabout follow the Eastbourne signs on the NEW A22 dual carriageway. Follow the brown and white signs ‘Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour’. Follow the A21 signposted Tunbridge wells. Take the Tunbridge Wells turning onto the A264 and go though Tunbridge Wells following the Eastbourne signs (keep a look out for speed cameras). Take the A267 out of Tunbridge Wells through all the small towns and villages to join the A22 at Lower Horsebridge. At the large roundabout at Polegate turn left onto the A27 (signs for Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings). At the next roundabout follow the Eastbourne signs on the NEW A22 dual carriageway.
