DPVs offer a thrilling way for scuba divers to see a lot of underwater territory in a short amount of time. They scoot you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, buzz around a large wreck or weave through a kelp forest. Whether making a shore or boat dive, a DPV is a great way to see more and have fun doing it.



Why PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle?

If you want an introduction to the excitement of moving through the water with no effort, then this is your course. Also, If you wish to dive on long wrecks you need to cover alot of ground and finning alone will not do this. We can now offers this exciting specialty on location in Wraysbury, Chepstow and Guildy in Peterborough.


During the program, you'll learn the techniques you need to know for safe diver propulsion vehicle operation.

This includes:

  • Diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards
  • Equipment and procedure considerations
  • How to avoid harming fragile aquatic life


Course consists of

A knowledge review session and 2 dives. All equipment, air and certification included.


Where can I go from here?


When you have qualified, you can rent a DPV for dives in Gildenburgh for £10 per hour. DPV's are available for sale, with discounts available if you have done our specialty.
