PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course

Get Certified! Get your PADI scuba certification LOCALLY. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts min age 10yrs old. We are the only PADI facility in Kent that provide Drysuits as standard kit from the very beginning of your training during the PADI Open Water Diver Course and thereafter.

Option 1

PADI Open Water Referral Course

One weekend - eLearning theory completed in advance at home.

Weekend One - Confined Pool Dives at Glass Mill Leisure Centre 9am-3pm.

You then have 12 months to complete the four open water dives on holiday.

Option 2

PADI Open Water Diver course

Two weekends. eLearning theory completed in advance at home

Weekend One - Confined Pool Dives at Glass Mill Leisure Centre 9am-3pm

Weekend Two - four open water training dives in Leybourne freshwater lake 9am-4pm.

The course will make you feel comfortable with the equipment you use and ensure that you develop the required knowledge and skills necessary for safe and enjoyable diving. On satisfactory completion of all phases you will be awarded an internationally recognised certification. All the necessary Scuba equipment, pool wetsuit, Drysuit, tuition, Drysuit Fitting with Pool Orientation Session and the home-study eLearning supplied by C-Life.

Optional Extras - Combine a Specialty Course and get Credit towards Advanced Open Water

• Open Water and Drysuit Diver Specialty Course using our special AZDRY Drysuits (plus one extra dive)
• Open Water and Peak Performance Buoyancy (plus the one extra dive)
• Open Water and Enriched Air Diver (No extra dive required).

All courses can be tailor made on demand all year round, additional dates for mixed groups, at NO extra charge

• After certification, 10 to 11-year-olds are restricted to diving with a parent, guardian or PADI Professional to 12m maximum depth;
• 12 to 14-year-olds must dive with an adult certified diver to 18m maximum depth.

• No need to turn up for the classroom theory sessions just turn up for the pool dives along with print out of completed theory (eRecord)

• Confined dives
• Drysuit fitting and pool orientation - for full course
• Plus certification fee for either Referral or full course included
• Schedule example;
  • Saturday Meet at Glass Mill Pool 9am finish 2pm
  • Sunday Meet at Glass Mill Pool 9am finish 3pm
    
  • Thereafter continue on a further weekend to complete the four training dives with us or on your holiday. Lake Fees extra.
